Alterations
Pattern is written so that if you are between 2 sizes or you are not of any standard body size you can easily modify, such as size XS for sleeves, L for bust, and M for back by just working the size you need at any part of the pattern. If you wish to make the sweater longer just CO more stitches at the side seam and repeat an extra set from Chest Cable Chart. It is all explained in the pattern.

Construction
The sweater is worked from side to side, starting with right sleeve. The sleeve is worked in rounds simultaneously repeating the cable pattern with the middle stitches and increasing at the beginning and end of round. When reaching the armpit, stitches for the back are cast on at the end of the last round. The work is turned and purled flat to the stitches cast on at the end of last round and they are purled through the back loop to form the stitches for the front. A couple rows are worked flat for shoulder. Then sts are divided in two, half become the back and the other half become the front. The front is worked first with chest cables while the back sts are left on hold. Once both back and front are knitted, they join to become the left shoulder and later the left sleeve, which is worked in the round with cable in the middle and decreases on both sides.
