Goth skulls and Roses stranded colorwork knitting pattern for knee high socks. Suitable especially for goth girls and pirate boys, or vice versa... Goth Pirates and girl boys. Or any (combinations) of those.

These socks are worked toe up with a gusset and heel flap for extra room, comfort and mobility.

The name of this design is: Pushing Roses!

What you need to know if you want to make these:
- How to knit in the round
- How to knit with two colors
- How to read a color chart (It's basically paint by colors, not hard)
- How to cast on a toe up sock or how to find a tutorial on YouTube and replicate what you've seen in said video
- How to work increases that lean left or right

MC Garnstudio DROPS Flora, 210 m (230 yds) / 50 grams, 65% wool, 35% alpaca, 2 [2, 2, 3] skeins in color #18; Red
CC Garnstudio DROPS Flora, 210 m (230 yds) / 50 grams, 65% wool, 35% alpaca, 2 [2, 2, 3] skeins in color #06; black

Other brands will work too!

... appropriate needles, which are:
2.5 mm (US 1 ½) DPN’s or circular needle for magic loop or short circular needle or size to obtain gauge.

The Gauge is
32 sts and 42 rnds in colorwork = 10 cm (4 inch)

You also need these notions
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle

Notes
Don’t let the yarn floats be any longer than 4 sts.
Knitted toe up with a short row gusset heel and heel flap.
Toes are worked so that the first and last st on sole and instep are worked in MC as are the increases. Stitches between are worked in the same color as the st from the round before.

Women Small [Medium, Large, Extra Large]

Measurements
Calf circumference (widest): 29 30.5, 32, 33.5] cm (11.5 [12, 12.5, 13] inch)
Ankle circumference (narrowest): 21 [22.5, 24, 25.5] cm (8.25 [8.75, 9.5, 10] inch)
Top of heel to top of cuff: 37 cm (14.5 inch)
Foot circumference: 21 [22.5, 24, 25.5] cm (8.25 25 [8.75, 9.5, 10] inch)
Toe length: 3.5 cm (1.5 inch)
