Infinity x infinity - Cable Sock Knitting Pattern
This is a simple and quick sneaker sock with a decorative cuff and infinite cable on both cuff and foot.
This is a very fast knit and perfect as a last-minute gift or guest slippers at your house.
The cuff is first worked flat, then the stitches for the sock are picked up from the edge of the cuff.
Yarn
40 - 70 grams of fingering weight yarn. The final yardage depends on foot length and width.
Sample uses Svarta Fåret Frost; 200 m / 50 grams, 75% wool, 25% Nylon in color 620 Turkos multi.
44 grams for size S, 39 EU/23 cm (9 inch) long foot.
Needle
- Size 2.5mm (US 1.5) needles, dpn’s or 100cm (40 inch) circulars for magic loop or a circular needle suitable for small circumference work and
- 2 dpn’s for knitting i-cord

Notes
- When picking up stitches use the ratio 2:1 (pick up 2, skip 1) to get the closest and even stitch count for your sock.
- To make the socks a mirror image AKA OCD proof, just reverse all the crossing cable turns on the second sock.
